Staging

The most common question we get asked is “Why should I stage my home?”  Therefore we have complied a list of some interesting facts that answer that very question.

  • It’s estimated that only 10% of home buyers can visualize the potential in a house. Our job is to appeal to the remaining 90% who can’t.
  • First impressions really are the key, the majority of buyers have formed an opinion about your home within 7-10 seconds of their arrival. At E2x Interiors we take this into account. In addition to your home’s unique personality to create an esthetically pleasing environment that not only shows off its potential but also makes it appealing to the broadest demographic possible.
  • An unstaged house, on average, takes 125 days to sell. A staged home takes 27 days to sell.*
  • The longer your unstaged house stays on the market the more likely it will undergo various price reductions. The cost of staging is usually significantly less than the cost of the first price reduction alone.
  • As staging is proven to sell your home faster, making the choice to stage will save you multiple mortgage payments. In addition, the money that you spend professionally staging your home is also tax deductible.
  • A staged home will sell on average, 17% higher in value.**
